FRANKLIN, Wis. -- Alluma Tech, the industry leader in all illuminated technologies for displays, POP, and other merchandising activities, recently announced that its Rocus USA Manufacturing Group has opened a new state of the art LED sign production facility in WuJong, China. It will manufacture the entire Lite Tech line of energy efficient LED products.
The new facility demonstrates Alluma Tech's future commitment to a new generation of Point of Purchase signage and other upcoming market innovations with LED technology.
The new facility consists of multiple buildings that span over 300,000 square feet on one campus. The layout accommodates all stages of production, vertically integrated from the LED diode through all component parts and into overseas bulk shipping. Final UL electrical assembly, packing and shipping takes place at the 40,000-square-foot Rocus USA plant in Oceanside, CA. "This will result in a new standard for industry leading quality assurance," noted Mike Nissen, President of Alluma Tech.
The LED plant equipment includes CNC PC Board assembly, precision laser cutting for plastics and metal, precision vacuum thermoforming, automatic screen printing, and six lines of LED sign assembly. The equipment is flexible to make both standard size signs as well as dominator LED signs ten feet long. The capacity is over 150,000 signs per year.
"We are very excited about our new production facility and the new innovation, quality control and environmental benefits it will provide our customers," said David Chiang, Chairman of Rocus USA.
Alluma Tech's line of Lite Tech LED products provide illuminated features at dramatically lower costs. The Lite Tech designs offer the lowest profile illuminated sign and replaces old fluorescent illumination at a brightness level to match and exceed.
"There are many claims of LED products achieving as bright as neon illumination," added Ray Starsiak, Executive Vice President of Alluma Tech. "They will last at that level of brightness for 6 to 12 to 18 months. Our clients expectation is for LED signs to stay bright as long as fluorescent and neon illuminated signs. David Chiang's research and development of this product line focused on sustainable brightness. The roots of this technology draft off Mr. Chiang's accomplishments in more efficient power transforming and mixing neon tube phosphors with screening ink to increase brightness."
As a "GREEN alternative" Lite Tech LED products offer an energy savings of 40 to 50%. Packaging and distribution costs distribution costs are also reduced dramatically for the most environmentally friendly sign option in the marketplace.
"Our philosophy at Alluma Tech has always been to lead the industry on a foundation of production leadership and our new production facility will keep Alluma Tech at the forefront of industry leadership in the manufacturing process," said Mike Nissen, President of Alluma Tech. |
